Gary Mayek

This scholarship was established in memory of Gary Mayek, who was murdered in 2019. Diesel and Heavy Equipment work and fun were Gary’s passions. He treated everyone as an equal, gave back to his community and was a steadfast believer in being a giver to others. His mother Judy Mayek, wanted to honor her son’s legacy by providing students in a field he loved, the opportunity to earn this scholarship.
