Jim and Audrey Olson
The Jim and Audrey Olson Memorial scholarship fund was set up as a tribute to Jim and Audrey’s belief in supporting continuing education. James was the Administrator of Mid-State Technical school in Marshfield for 19 years. Audrey was a Registered Nurse who dedicated her career working as an RN and helped provide continuing education for nurses. Our family continues to support students to honor our parents’ lifetime of work to advance adult education with an emphasis on health care.

“I want to express how thankful I am to receive this scholarship; it means very much to me. I have set a goal for myself to become a nurse because I want to make a difference in people’s lives and help them in any way I can. This money will enable me to dedicate more time to my studies. I am so grateful for this scholarship because school is expensive, and I am hoping to pay my way through by working and not incurring debt.
