John Foss
Established in 1993 by friends and family in memory of former Mid-State math instructor, John Foss. This award is to assist a full-time student carrying a minimum GPA of 3.0, enrolled in an Associates Degree program.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the donors of the John Foss Memorial Scholarship. These funds will allow me to focus my time on completing my courses without working as many hours to cover my tuition and living expenses. This is especially important as I enter the third semester of the Nursing program. Completing the Nursing program will allow me to better serve the community, that I moved into four years ago. I also hope to serve people that are living in impoverished and hostile environments. Again, would like to thank you for funding my continued education.” – Stewart Farnum
