Marilyn Dethlefsen
Established in 2015, by Larry Pischke and family to give this scholarship in the name of Marilyn Dethlefsen, a nursing professional that worked long hours to put herself through nursing school and she would like to ease the financial burden for other nursing students. To assist a student enrolled part- or full- time in the Nursing Program and has a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrates financial need based on FAFSA.

“It is hard to put into words how thankful I am to be granted this scholarship. Unfortunately this past summer I fell and broke my ankle which resulted in me needing surgery to place a plate and pins. Due to the severity of the injury and the surgery, I have been unable to put any weight on my foot all summer and therefore unable to work. The stress that this has placed on me felt insurmountable. Thanks to your most generous donation, a large weight has been lifted off my chest and I can head into this semester with a more open mind and in a better mentality.
