Rick and Jane Anderson
Rick Anderson is the current Dean of the Adams Campus and School of Public Safety at Mid-State Technical College. With a career in education that began in 2002 as a paramedic instructor, Rick quickly rose through the ranks, transitioning to Associate Dean of EMS in 2009. Over the years, he has expanded his responsibilities to include oversight of various programs within the School of Protective and Human Services.
Rick’s extensive background in the field includes significant roles in law enforcement, fire services, and emergency medical services, having served as police chief, fire chief, and EMS director before joining Mid-State. His dedication and leadership have established him as a cornerstone of the institution, profoundly impacting both the college and its students.
Together with his wife, Rick proudly supports student success through a scholarship designed to assist students in completing their associate degrees or technical diplomas. His commitment to education and community continues to inspire and support the next generation of professionals.
