“Dear MSTC Staff and Donor, It wasn’t until today, September 11, that I found out that I had received this Mid-State Scholarship. Going into this fall semester, I paid for my expenses and began to stress a little bit. I tried to think creatively as to how to budget my money well for the remainder of the year and all my other life expenses. As an eighteen-year-old working three part-time jobs to pay my way through school, even a wonderful, affordable technical college like Mid-State can seem daunting to pay for as I glean as much information as I can from my education. With this new-found scholarship, I will be able to rest easier knowing paying for college will be much more attainable. Thank you so much for choosing me to be the recipient of this scholarship. It is a great privilege and blessing that will not be put to waste as I work hard earning my degree and being an asset as a student to this school.
