VFW Post 10262 Non-Traditional Veteran Endowed Scholarship

This fund, established in 2022, by the VFW Post 10262, to assist a Non-Traditional veteran student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits and can be new or continuing their education with Mid-State Technical College. The student must be attending classes through the Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield or Stevens Point Campuses and can be a combination of in-person, online or hybrid. This is a $500 scholarship is offered each spring for disbursement in in full in the Fall semester (September) during the academic year. If no qualified applicants apply, the scholarship will be offered in the Fall for Spring disbursement. The VFW Post 10262 purpose of the corporation is Fraternal, Patriotic, Historical, Charitable and educational. Two of the purposes of the VFW Post 10262 membership are to preserve and strengthen comrades among its members and to assist worthy comrades! The VFW Post 10262 feels that assisting Non-traditional veteran students further their technical education through Mid-State Technical College is most beneficial to not only veterans but also the local community.
