Dr. Clark Pagel Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship will be offered each spring for the upcoming Fall semester start in August. The scholarship will be disbursed in two equal payments (September and February) during the academic year provided the student maintains a 2.5 GPA and at the discretion of the selection committee if GPA falls short. Donnell Pagel will be included in the review process.
Eligibility requirements: new or continuing student enrolled in Corrections & Community advocacy, Criminal Justice Studies, or Criminal Justice – Law Enforcement 720 Academy at Mid-State Technical College.
Dr. Clark Pagel began his law enforcement career with the Stevens Point Police Department. After ten years of being a police officer, advancing to the positions of Corporal, Detective and Sergeant; he accepted a position with Mid-State Technical College in 1989 for their Law Enforcement Training Program. As such, he served as their Associate Dean until his retirement in 2016. His love for education and his passion for the law enforcement profession, brought him back for several more years.
In his 37 year career, Clark has directly influenced over 20,000 police officers, correction officers, and juvenile detention officers. Clark spent his life promoting and enhancing the law enforcement profession. His greatest wish was that students would bve encouraged to choose this honorable profession and that the profession would continue to evolve and thrive.
