John Wandrey Memorial Scholarship

This memorial award was established by friends and family in May 2006. Retired from WPS, John served on the Mid-State District Board of Directors from July 1995 until June 2000 and served on the Mid-State Foundation Board of Directors. John was a valued member of the Scholarship & Grant Committee of the Foundation and believed in helping students realize their educational goals. This award is to assist a full-time student, residing in Portage County, enrolled in an Associate Degree program. This is a $500.00 scholarship and is offered each spring for disbursement in two equal payments (September and February) during the academic year provided the students maintain eligibility requirements and/or at the discretion of the selection committee.
